So many heartbreaks.
From my first crush in Grade 9 (who dumped me on New Year’s Eve), to my most recent long-term relationship, where I was convinced we were soul mates.
A broken heart can conjure up the worst range of emotions. Sadness, loneliness, grief, depression, shame and guilt. I can attest to all of the above at some point.
Music has always provided me with a coping mechanism to work through the intense feelings of loss.
My latest break-up is aptly summed up by Wrecking Ball.
